Beebe Speedway 2007 Mini Stock - 4 Cylinder Rules FIRE SUITS -- NECK BRACES -- WINDOW NETS OR ARM RESTRAINTS -- DRIVING SHOES AND 5 POINT HARNESS WITH CROTCH BELT ARE MANDATORY!!!!
NO COURTSEY NIGHTS ON SAFETY EQUIPTMENT!! MUFFLERS ARE MANDATORY!! Anything not covered below must remain stock. 1. Wheel well may be enlarged to clear tires.
2. Doors may be gutted to add door bars. Must have 4 driver side bars & 3 passenger side bars.
3. FULL STOCK floor pan back past the rear end.
4. FULL STOCK fire wall in stock location.
5. ALL body panels must be stock. My be replaced with sheet metal. Steel or aluminum.
6. Nose can be plastic or aluminum.
7. NO bars outside the body.
8. NO wings of any kind.
9. NO spoilers allowed, unless they came out stock on the car.
10. NO changing of the frame from 0" in front of the A frame to back of the rear spring.
11. You MUST have a shield to COMPLETELY separate the driver from the radiator.
12. CARBURETORS: 4412 Holley 2 barrel or stock factory carbs. 2-barrel only. Bottom of carburetor can be no larger than 1 11/16" diameter. Must be stock Ventura 1 3/8". Gas tank MUST be in a steel container in the trunk of the car. (Fuel cell recommended.) Pump gas or racing fuel only. No alcohol.
13. Battery MUST be in the rear of the car separated from the driver and COMPLETELY SECURED.
14. Door must be welded or bolted shut.
15. MOTOR - NO TURBOs. 4 cylinder only. MOTOR SIZE. MUST HAVE CAME OUT IN THAT YEAR OF CAR OR TRUCK FROM THE FACTORY. IF THE MOTOR DID NOT COME OUT IN THAT VEHICLE FROM THE FACTORY IT IS NOT LEGAL.. Stock blocks and stock heads. NO PORTING OR POLISHING THE HEAD. No stroked or de-stroked short blocks allowed. FLAT TOP OR DISHED PISTONS ONLY.AFTERMARKET PISTONS OK. CRANKSHAFT MUST HAVE STOCK STROKE. RODS MUST BE STOCK LEGNTH . FORD TO FORD, CHEVY TO CHEVY�.AND SO ON. Stock intake, any pulleys allowed. Motor must be in stock location--no moving it back. Factory stock fuel injection ( as it came from the manufacturer) allowed. Head may be shaved. Valves Can be any size No Titanium valves. No 4 wheel drives or engines in the rear. Distributors must be stock. No aftermarket allowed. Camshaft--any hydraulic cams allowed. Hydraulic roller ok. No solid lifters on hydraulic cam. No solid lift cams unless came in car. Must have came in that year car.
16. TRANSMISSIONS - Factory stock automatic or standard. Stock factory torque converters. NO triple disk ,double disk or ram couplers.
17. HEADERS--any header is allowed.
18. Wheelbase must be factory stock.
19. TIRES - NO tires larger than 205-70-15 street tires. IMCA tires allowed - grooving OK.---NO BEADLOCK WHEELS.---1 INCH LUG NUTS MANDATORY.
20. SPRINGS - Spring may be aftermarket. No wedge bolts or spring adjusters allowed. MAY USE SPRING SPACERS.
21. SHOCKS - Must be stock. NO racing shocks. Must mount in stock position.
22. MUST HAVE RACING SEAT & SEAT BELTS. Seat & belts must be fastened to roll cage.
23. PROTESTING A MOTOR WILL CONSIST OF PULLING THE INTAKE AND CHECKING FOR PORTING AND POLISHING . PULLING THE HEAD AND CHECKING FOR PORTING AND POLISHING. CHECKING THE BLOCK ON BORE & STROKE . CAM AND LIFTERS ONLY. Protest It costs $125.00 for an engine or drive train protest. THE DRIVER PROTESTING MUST HAVE RACED AT BEEBE SPEEDWAY FOR THE TWO PREVIOUS RACES BEFORE HE CAN PROTEST. THE DRIVER GETTING PROTESTED HAS 5 MIN. TO PROTEST THE DRIVER THAT PROTESTED HIM.IF HE OR SHE WISHES TO. THE DRIVER MUST HAVE THE $125 IN THERE POSSESSION WHEN ENTERING THE TEC AERA.
24. WEIGHT--ALL CARS MUST WEIGH 2500 LBS--MANDATORY!!
25. Drive shaft must be painted white. Must have drive shaft loop.
26. Stock front ends and stock swing arms must be factory stock only.
27. Brakes may have 3 or 4 working brakes--No adjustable proportioning valves allowed.
28. Fuel pumps may be stock or electric. If you have an electric pump you must have a oil pressure shut-off switch.
29. Rear-end must be stock OEM type rear-end. Locked rear-end are allowed---9 INCH OK.

It is your responsibility to go by the IMCA rules when building your Modified car for the 2007 racing season at Beebe Speedway. All of the build rules are included in the IMCA handbook and on their web site.
1. Weight Rule: 2350 lbs after race with driver. Aluminum heads OK with 50 lbs added in front of motor plate, roller cams OK. 2. Belt drive fuel & p.s. pump OK. 3. Tire Rule: KK704- American Racers or IMCA Stamped Hoosiers. 4. Shock?s---Steel Only. 5. Bert, Brinn, or Falcon transmission may use any aftermarket bell housing--steel or aluminum. No stock GM aluminum bell housing. 6. Muncie or Saginaw transmissions must use steel explosive proof bell housings. 7. Five inch single spoiler allowed. One brace on each side--no longer than 10 inches. Side skirts allowed--no more than 4 inch maximum plastic skirting allowed on the bottom of doors and quarter-panels. 8. Car must have a 12 volt or 16 volt ignition switch. 9. THERE WILL BE NO ENGINE CLAIMING AT BEEBE SPEEDWAY IN 2007 2007 Economy Modified Building Rules.

1. ENGINE 362 max cubic inch with GM 350 block & stock stroke 3.48 crank. Flat top pistons. Ford 361 (351 stock block & stroke) Mopar 370 (360 stock block & stroke). NO 400 BLOCKS. 2. CAMSHAFT LIFT RULE: .480"MEASURED AT THE VALVE. Aluminum roller rockers allowed. (Valve can only move .480" at top of the valve) .030 MAX. LASH ALLOWANCE. (NO VACUUM RULE) NO ROLLER CAM SHAFTS OR ROLLER LIFTERS. 3. OEM CAST IRON HEADS: SR or VORTEC heads OK. 2.02" intake & 1.60 exhaust valves max. 23 degree heads only. No angle plugs allowed. 1. Carburetor can be no larger than a Holley #4412 500 CFM 2 barrel and must pass inspection from top side with gage. Bottom of carburetor can be no larger than 1 11/16" in diameter. (Must be stock Ventura 1-3/8") May run Rochester 2 barrel. 2. Alcohol and racing fuel OK. NO ADDITIVES. 3. Rear fuel cell panel optional. 4. RECOMMENDED: IF a new car is being built or the fuel cell is being replaced, replace with 22 gallon maximum capacity. SPOILER.
1. 8" MAXIMUM rear spoiler MANDATORY. To be measured deck to full length of spoiler including wicker bill & angles. WEIGHT. 1. Weight with driver after race 2500 lbs minimum. NO MOUNTED WEIGHTS ABOUT DECK METAL! TIRES AND WHEELS. 1.HOOSIER ASPHALT PULL-OFFS OR MODIFIED PULL-OFFS. NO tires softer than a 55 compound allowed. NO recaps. 2. Steel wheels only 10" maximum. Bead-lock on right rear only. TRANSMISSIONS. 1. STANDARD: OEM 3 or 4 speed only. Clutch, flywheel & pressure plate 10" minimum. Must have steel blow proof bell housing. Automatics must have working 10" torque converter minimum. No direct drive or mini clutches. No BERT or BRINN transmissions . IGNITION. 1. MSD ignition 6AL allowed with $500 claim on complete system. 2. NO MAG type distributors. PROTEST. There is a $100 car protest fee. If you win the protest, you will get your $100 back. If you loose protest, the $100 will go to the driver protested. If the car is found to be illegal, the driver will loose the points and money for that night. A Window net is Mandatory in 2007. This is IMCA rule. No Traction control devices.
Visiting E-MODS will be allowed one courtesy night (on minor infractions) and then must comply with the above rules. After 4 feature wins at Beebe Speedway, the track has the option to tear down the 4 time winners engine. If the engine is found to be legal after inspection, the track will supply the driver with a replacement gaskets . 1. Any year model American made car. Wheelbase must be factory stock. No tolerance. No subcompact cars. Rack and pinion cars must be factory stock parts only. If chassis is altered or steering parts (tie rods etc.) are not stock and in stock location - it?s not legal! 2. Complete stock bodies and frame for that year model. Body must be factory stock. All doors must be secured to body. No sheet metal doors or hoods. NO aluminum or fiberglass body parts unless it was factory stock. NO plastic or sheet metal on rocker panels or fenders (except as needed to patch holes). NO side skirts or plastic or sheet metal on windows (except sunscreen, 5" on front window). NO ground effects on nose pieces. Rear spoilers can be used only if came factory stock and must conform to stock specifications. Spoiler must not be wider than trunk lid. Back of body must be enclosed fender to fender. Hood and trunk must be pinned down. Must have a complete stock factory floor pan and firewall. Rear firewall must extend from bottom of rear window to bottom of floor pan. Trunk area may be cut no further forward than pinion of rear end, must maintain inner fender well that attach?s to floor pan. Rear fender wells and firewalls may be trimmed for tire clearance. Bumpers may be square tubing ~ must run inner rub rail ~ minimum size 1 ? inch round tubing on rear bumper. Must have tow loops front and rear. Front fender wells may be unbolted and removed. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance. All window openings must remain factory size. All cars must have stock front dash in stock location. Holes in firewall must be covered with metal or aluminum. NO ENCLOSED INTERIORS. All glass must be removed, including head and taillights. No rear view mirrors allowed. 3. Factory stock OEM frame front to rear. NO alterations allowed. This includes all cross members. DRIVE SHAFT LOOP MANDATORY. 6 INCHES BACK FROM FRONT U-JOINT--DRIVE SHAFT AND LOOP MUST BE PAINTED WHITE. 4. All weights must be painted white with your cars number on it and securely fastened to eliminate injury and hazardous conditions. Failure to have your cars number on a weight or failure to have it securely fastened is grounds for disqualification or position penalty at the discretion of the Tech official. 5. Factory gages may be removed. All flammable interior (carpet, headliner, interior side panel, rear seats, etc.) must be removed. Wiring harness may be removed and replaced. Racing seat MANDATORY. Driver/racing seat must be in stock location. No standard auto safety belts allowed. All cars must be equipped with racing safety-approved seat belts bolted to the frame with grade 8 bolts. Shoulder harness is mandatory.. 2 year to current date on belts. A 5-POINT HARNESS WITH CROTCH BELT IS MANDATORY. The battery must be securely mounted in a battery box on the car. 6. Quick release steering wheel is optional MY REPLACE STEERING COLUMN WITH ? round steering rod in stock location. 7. WEIGHT: 3500 lb. after race with driver. Top 5 cars weigh after heat races. Last chance transfer spots will weigh. Top 5 will weigh after "A" feature. ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN ENGINE MUST HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE IN THIS VEHICLE. YEAR MAY BE INTERCHANGED. MUST HAVE 180 DEGREE EXPLOSION PROOF STEEL BELL HOUSING IF YOU HAVE A MISMATCHED MOTOR IN A CAR THAT DIDN'T COME IN IT AND WE CATCH YOU, YOU ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO RUN IN FACTORY STOCK...YOU MUST MOVE UP TO ANOTHER CLASS TO CONTINUE TO RACE AT BEEBE SPEEDWAY. 1. Engine must be stock production. Factory blocks only. GM to GM, Ford to Ford, Dodge to Dodge. Flat top or dished pistons, NO domes. Stock GM crankshaft 3.480 STROCK and STOCK GM RODS. No 90 or newer roller cam blocks. No bow tie or aluminum blocks. Casting numbers must be readable by tech official. No 400 blocks. Maximum cubic inch displacement to include clearance and wear is 360 for GM and Ford and 370 for Mopar. All others must not exceed 360 CID. 2. INTAKES: Any production cast iron intake. No porting of the heads or gasket matching of intake or heads. Intake may NOT be reworked under carb area. Carb spacer no taller than 1 inch allowed. CARBURETOR CAN BE NO LARGER THAN A HOLLEY #4412 500 CFM 2 BARREL AND MUST PASS INSPECTION FROM TOP SIDE WITH GAGE. BOTTOM OF CARB CAN BE NO LARGER THAN 1 11/16" IN DIAMETER. (MUST BE STOCK VENTURA 1-3/8") MAY RUN ROCHESTER 2 BARREL (SUBJECT TO BE PULLED OFF AND CHECKED) . 3. Factory style distributors. (GM = HEI). No MSD distributors, No remote coils on GM distributors. No on board electronic devices capable of storing information allowed with the exception of recall Tachometers. No aftermarket electronic amplifying devices allowed. No aftermarket modules. 4. Hydraulic camshafts & lifters only, stock stamped rocker arms. NO flat tappet cams or mushroom cams. No roller hydraulic cams. Engines must not pull less than 18" of vacuum at 1000 R.P.M., Checked with track tachometer and track vacuum gage. If you are in doubt get with Tech official and check before competing. All cars in tech will be checked, plus we may have surprise tech at our discretion. Car must have capability for track tech official to hook up track tachometer and vacuum gage. Zero valve lash is required. 5. Heads must be stock OEM production only. No aftermarket heads. Casting number must be Readable by tech official. 2.02 - 1.60 valves in GM is the largest size allowed. No aluminum heads or angle plug heads. Aftermarket valve springs OK. Screw in studs allowed. No angle milling of Blocks or heads, No Brezinski products, No porting, No polishing, No acid dipping, or anything similar allowed to heads or intake. 6. Stock cast iron exhaust manifolds, NO Headers. If you use mufflers, they must be securely fastened. MUFFLERS ARE MANDATORY! 7. Factory stock automatics or standard transmissions. Must use factory stock OEM clutch disc and pressure plates on stock steel OEM flywheels only. NO EXCEPTIONS. AFTERMARKET CLUTCH PETAL OK. Stock type 10" or larger factory torque converters required on all automatics, temperature reading will be taken to ensure torque converter is not a dummy. Driver must be able to put car in gear from park/neutral and move forward and reverse at time of inspection. Must have drive shaft loop. Drive shafts must be painted white. ENGINE CLAIM Engine claims will be $350.00 cash and swap $50.00 goes to wrecker for pulling engines. LONG BLOCK ONLY, Driver claiming must have raced at BEEBE SPEEDWAY in the Factory Stock class the previous 2 feature events. Anyone wishing to make a claim must have finished the feature on the night of the claim. Only the top 4 finishing cars may be claimed. Claimant must be on lead lap. Only the driver is allowed to claim, any contact with anyone other than the tech man and the claim will be invalid. To claim, you must drive your car to the infield/tech area and hand the cash to the Tech Official within the 5-minute protest period. If you leave the track, you claim is void. If you refuse to swap, or refuse the tear down rule, you lose all money won that night and all accumulated points. Second refusal, driver will be suspended for 3 weeks. No driver may claim more than 1 engine during racing year. Claimed engine will be marked and must be run upon return to BEEBE SPEEDWAY. If "marked" engine is not run upon first visit back to BEEBE SPEEDWAY, you will not be able to run until motor is placed in car. SAFETY REGULATIONS 1. Roll cages are required. No screw joint fittings allowed. The minimum requirement for all roll cages on all cars shall be an "A" shaped affair, constructed of at least 1 1/2" OD pipe with bars running from the upper right corner to the lower left corner, and just the opposite on the other side, forming a "X" as viewed from front to rear. There must also be a cross bar on top of "A" and 4 bars down the side and 4 bars around the top to complete a caged affair around the driver. All roll bar pipes must be at least .095 in thickness. Must have 4 kidney bars on the driver side and 2 bars on the passenger side. The driver and passenger doors inner liner only may be altered as necessary to install bars in the door area. No further gutting allowed. Gussets required. Bars may be added to protect radiator and gas tank areas. 3 1/4 inch bars in front of driver?s window are mandatory, 1/8" doorplate is mandatory. From back of cage to 5 inches in front of seat top to bottom. 2. Fuel cells mandatory and must be in stock position, 32 gallon maximum. Fuel cells must be securely installed with 2 inch wide by 1/8 inch steel straps. Pump GAS OR RACING GAS only. NO nitrous oxide or other performance enhancing chemicals allowed. TIRES - WHEELS - SUSPENSION 1. IMCA, Street or track tires only. NO tires softer than a 55 compound allowed. NO recaps. 275/60/15 largest street tire allowed. All tires must pass tech inspection. 2. Steel racing wheels only. Maximum width is 10". Right rear bead-lock recommended. NO plastic or aluminum wheels. 5/8" stud and 1" Lug nuts MANDATORY. 3. All suspension must remain STOCK and in stock location. NO relocation of mounting points. Springs may be aftermarket No use of chains or other items to limit suspension travel. NO Weight Jacks or spring sliders allowed. Rear Springs must use stock upper spring pads in stock location. 4. NO racing shocks or heim mounted shocks allowed, Shocks must mount in stock location. Only one(1) shock per wheel. No spring assisted shocks unless it is Factory delivered for that vehicle. Must have working 4 wheel brakes. Rear suspensions must mount up factory stock. NO alterations. All control arms must mount up in stock positions. NO aftermarket control arms. No Johnny joints. Any stock American made car or ? ton truck rear ends allowed. 9" Ford rear ends will be authorized in any car. However, all brackets and shocks must stay in their original locations. May switch to disk brakes on rear. NO FLOATER or GRAND NATIONAL rear ends. All cars must remain on stock suspension for the car that it is under. NO gold tracs or any form of traction devices allowed. Locked rear ends required. Visiting Factory Stocks will be allowed one (first night at the track in 2007) courtesy night (on minor infractions) and then must comply with the above rules. NO side skirts or plastic or sheet metal on windows (except sunscreen (5 inch) on front window). NO ground effects on nose pieces. Bumpers may be square tubing ~ must run inner rub rail ~ minimum size 1 ? inch round tubing on rear bumper. Must have tow loops front and rear. Spoilers must not exceed 6 inches. 2 braces allowed, one at each end and cannot exceed 6" in length. Spoiler must not be wider than trunk lid. Back of body must be enclosed fender to fender. Rear fender wells may be cut out for tire clearance, must maintain inner fender well that attaches to floor pan. Factory stock OEM frame front to rear. NO alterations allowed. This includes all cross members. Hood and trunk must be pinned down. Stock steel hoods or fiberglass hoods. Factory trunk lid or stock appearing aftermarket trunk lid. Front fender wells may be unbolted and removed. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance. 3. All weight must be added in the form of roll bars or solid weights bolted securely to the frame of the car outside of the driver?s compartment. All weights must be painted white with car number on it. No weights can be mounted above bottom of window opening. 4. All doors must be secured to body. Must have stock appearing hoods and trunks. All window openings must remain factory size. Must have 3 bars in front of driver?s window. All cars must have front dash in stock location. Sheet metal only. Rear firewall must extend from bottom of rear window to bottom of floor pan. Holes in firewall must be covered with metal or aluminum. NO ENCLOSED INTERIORS. May replace factory dash with aluminum ~ no wider than 12 inches. 1/8" thick doorplate is mandatory. From back of cage to 5 inches in front of seat top to bottom. 5. All glass must be removed, including head and taillights. No rear view mirrors allowed. 6. Gages may be removed. All flammable interior (carpet, headliner, interior side panel, rear seats, etc.) must be removed. Racing seat strongly recommended. Wiring harness may be removed and replaced. Neck brace and window net (or arm restraints) are mandatory. A 5 point harness with crotch belt is mandatory! You must have a 12 volt ignition system--no 16 volts. 7. Quick release steering wheel is optional. Quick steer boxes OK. Steering remains in stock position. 8. WEIGHT: 3400 lb. after race with driver. Top 5 cars weigh after heat races. Last chance transfer spots will weigh. Top 5 will weigh after "A" feature. ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN: ENGINE MUST HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE IN THIS VEHICLE. YEAR MAY BE INTERCHANGED. Factory style HEI distributors. No remote coils on GM distributors. No on board electronic devices capable of storing information allowed. No aftermarket electronic amplifying devices allowed. Tachometers only. 3. Hydraulic camshafts only. NO flat tappet cams or mushroom cams. No roller hydraulic cams. Engines must not pull less than 14" of vacuum at 1000 RPM?s. All cars will be checked in tech. Zero valve lash is required. 4. Heads must be stock OEM production only. No aftermarket heads. Casting number must be readable by tech official. 2.02 - 1.60 valves in GM is the largest size allowed. No aluminum heads or angle plug heads. Aftermarket valve springs OK. Stock OEM rocker arms only. Screw in studs allowed. 5. Headers are legal. 6. Factory stock automatics or standard transmissions. Must use stock appearing clutch disc and pressure plates on steel flywheels only. Stock type factory torque converters required on all automatics. Driver must be able to put car in gear from park/neutral and move forward and reverse at time of inspection. Must have drive shaft loop. Drive shafts must be painted white. 7. There is a $125.00 tear down rule on each: pistons, cams, lifters, rockers & porting heads and intake; flywheels/clutch; drive line. Driver only may protest. $25.00 of the money goes into the driver?s point fund. 8. CLAIM: $350.00 cash and swap. $50.00 goes to wrecker for pulling engines. Driver claiming must have raced at BEEBE Speedway in the Hobby Stock class the previous 2 feature events. LONG BLOCK ONLY. Anyone wishing to make a claim must have finished the feature on the night of the claim. Only the top 4 finishing cars may be claimed. Claimant must be on lead lap. To claim, you must go to the infield and hand the cash to the officials within the 5-minute protest period. If you leave the track, you claim is void. If you refuse to swap, or refuse the tear down rule, you lose all money won that night and all accumulated points. Second refusal, driver will be suspended for 3 weeks. Promoter may claim any engine following feature so long as claim is made within the 5-minute time limit. No driver may claim more than 1 engine during racing year. Claimed engine will be marked and must be run upon return to BEEBE Speedway. If "marked" engine is not run upon first visit back to BEEBE, you will not be able to run until motor is placed in car. SAFETY REGULATIONS 1. Roll cages are required. No screw joint fittings allowed. The minimum requirement for all roll cages on all cars shall be an "A" shaped affair, constructed of at least 1 1/2" OD pipe with bars running from the upper right corner to the lower left corner, and just the opposite on the other side, forming a "X" as viewed from front to rear. There must also be a cross bar on top of "A" and 4 bars down the side and 4 bars around the top to complete a caged affair around the driver. All roll bar pipes must be at least .095 in thickness. Must have 3 kidney bars on the driver side and 2 bars on the passenger side. FOR 2007 ~ MUST HAVE 4 BARS ON DRIVER?S SIDE. The driver and passenger doors inner liner only may be altered as necessary to install bars in the door area. No further gutting allowed. Gussets required. Bars may be added to protect radiator and gas tank areas. 3 1/4 inch bars in front of driver?s window are mandatory. 1/8" doorplate is mandatory. 2. Gas tanks must be in stock position. Fuel cells mandatory. 32 gallon maximum. Gas tanks/cells must be securely installed with 2 inch wide by 1/8 inch steel straps. Pump, racing or aviation gas only. NO nitrous oxide allowed. TIRES - WHEELS - SUSPENSIONS: 1. IMCA, Street or track tires only. Any asphalt takeoffs on the front and rear. NO tires softer than a 55 compound allowed. NO recaps. 275/60/15 largest street tire allowed. All tires must pass tech inspection. 2. Steel racing wheels only. Maximum width is 10". Right rear bead-lock recommended. NO plastic or aluminum wheels. 5/8" stud mandatory. 3. Racing springs allowed on front and rear. Adjustable/Cheater weight jacks on front only. Rear Springs must use stock upper spring pads in stock location. 4. Racing shocks allowed, must mount in stock location. No heim mounted shocks allowed. Must Have 3 or 4 wheel brakes, valve must be in engine compartment. After-market brake pedals and master cylinders are OK. Rear suspensions must mount up factory stock. NO alterations. All control arms must mount up in stock positions. NO aftermarket control arms. No Johnny joints. Any stock American made car or ? ton truck rear ends allowed. All cars must remain on stock suspension for the car that it is under. NO gold tracks or any form of traction devices allowed. All rear ends must be locked. 5. Must have driver�s compartment floor pan, may be fabricated. Rear spoiler must not exceed 8" in height. 3 forward braces, may not exceed 12" long. Sheet metal or aluminum doors and fenders allowed. Side skirts allowed. Factory trunk lid or stock appearing aftermarket trunk lid ~ steel or aluminum. Rear end must have enclosure ~ must go from trunk lid to rear bumper ~ minimum width 36". 4. All cars must be equipped with racing safety-approved seat belts bolted to the frame or sub-frame. Drivers� seat and steering must be in stock location. Racing seat is mandatory. Neck brace and window net (or arm restraints) are mandatory. 1/8" thick doorplate is mandatory. Back of cage to 9 inches in front of seat bottom to top. 5. Gas tanks must be in stock position. Fuel cells mandatory. 32 gallon maximum. Gas tanks/cells must be securely installed with 2 inch wide by 1/8 inch steel straps. Pump, racing or aviation gas only. NO nitrous oxide allowed. 6. Bumpers may be square tubing ~ must run inner rub rail ~ minimum size 1 � inch round tubing on rear bumper. All cars must remain stock appearing. Quick steer boxes allowed. Must have a chain loop in front and rear for wreckers to hook to. 7. WEIGHT: 3000 lb. after race with driver. All weights must be securely mounted to the frame of the car outside of the driver�s compartment. All weights must be painted white with numbers on it. Top 5 cars weigh after heat races. Last chance transfer spots will weigh. Top 5 will weigh after "A" feature. MOTOR: NO CUBIC INCH LIMIT 1. MOTOR BLOCK AND HEADS CAST IRON ONLY, NO DRY SUMP SYSTEMS, ANY ALUMINIUM INTAKE ALLOWED. AMC must be stock valve size. Stud girdles, guide plates and roller rockers are allowed. Aftermarket valves and springs allowed. Must be steel valves only. Porting of heads allowed. Engine setback will be allowed to centerline of the upper ball joint to the center of the #1 spark plug hole. DRIVE TRAIN: 1. Transmissions: Only OEM production type transmissions will be allowed: 3 speed, 4 speed and automatics. Clutch must be on crankshaft inside of bell housing. Driver must be able to put car in gear from park/neutral and move forward and reverse at time of inspection. Automatics may have bypass valve. 2. A 9 inch Ford or GN housing highly recommended. GM rear ends MUST have axle retention. Gold tracks or spools in rear end OK. Aluminum drive shafts allowed. Drive shaft must be painted white. Grand Nationals allowed. 3. No direct drive allowed.
