In all non sanctioned classes, if you win 3 consecutive feature races, you are subject to teardown by the track.



2005 HOBBY STOCK BUILDING RULES

THOSE ITEMS NOT ADDRESSED IN THE FOLLOWING MUST REMAIN STOCK AS PRODUCED BY THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER - NO GUTTING

BODY:
1. Any year model American made car. No front wheel drives allowed. Wheelbase must be factory stock. No tolerance. No subcompact cars. Rack and pinion cars must be factory stock parts only. If chassis is altered or steering parts are not stock and in stock location - it’s not legal! All unibody cars must be tied together. Must have a complete stock factory floorpan and firewall. Trunk area may be cut no further forward than pinion of rear end. Seats must be in stock location.
2. Complete stock bodies and frame for that year model. Stock floorboards, rear fenderwells and firewalls. Body must look factory stock, may use sheetmetal on doors and fenders. NO aluminum bodies. NO plastic or sheetmetal on rocker panels or fenders. NO side skirts or plastic or sheet metal on windows (except sunscreen (5inch) on front window). NO ground effects on nose pieces. Bumpers may be square tubing ~ must run inner rub rail ~ minimum size 1 _ inch round tubing on rear bumper. Must have tow loops front and rear. Spoilers must not exceed 6 inches. 2 braces allowed, one at each end and cannot exceed 6” in length. Spoiler must not be wider than trunk lid. Back of body must be enclosed fender to fender. Rear fender wells may be cut out for tire clearance, must maintain inner fender well that attaches to floopan. Factory stock OEM frame front to rear. NO alterations allowed. This includes all cross members. Hood and trunk must be pinned down. Stock steel hoods or fiberglass hoods. Factory trunk lid or stock appearing aftermarket trunk lid ~ steel only. Front fender wells may be unbolted and removed. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance.
3. All weight must be added in the form of roll bars or solid weights bolted securely to the frame of the car outside of the driver’s compartment. All weights must be painted white with car number on it.
4. All doors must be secured to body. Must have stock appearing hoods and trunks. All window openings must remain factory size. Must have 3 bars in front of driver’s window. All cars must have front dash in stock location. Sheet metal only. Rear firewall must extend from bottom of rear window to bottom of floorpan. Holes in firewall must be covered with metal or aluminum. NO ENCLOSED INTERIORS. May replace factory dash with aluminum ~ no wider than 12 inches. 1/8” thick doorplate is mandatory.
5. All glass must be removed, including head and taillights. No rear view mirrors allowed.
6. Gauges may be removed. All flammable interior (carpet, headliner, interior side panel, rear seats, etc.) must be removed. Racing seat strongly recommended. Wiring harness may be removed and replaced. Shoulder harness is mandatory. All cars must be equipped with racing safety-approved seat belts bolted to the frame. No standard auto safety belts allowed. Neck brace and window net (or arm restraints) are mandatory.
7. Quick release steering wheel is optional. Quick steer boxes OK. Steering remains in stock position.
8. WEIGHT: 3400 lb. after race with driver. Top 5 cars weigh after heat races. Last chance transfer spots will weigh. Top 5 will weigh after “A” feature.


ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN:
ENGINE MUST HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE IN THIS VEHICLE. YEAR MAY BE INTERCHANGED.
MUST HAVE 360 DEGREE EXPLOSION PROOF STEEL BELLHOUSING
1. Engine must be stock production. Factory blocks only. No 90 or newer roller cam blocks. No bowtie or aluminum blocks. Casting numbers must be readable by tech official. No 400 blocks. Engine set back #1 plug even with upper balljoint. Flat top or dished pistons only. Maximum cubic inch displacement to include clearance and wear is 362 for GM and Ford and 370 for Mopar. All others must not exceed 362
CID.
2. INTAKES: Any production cast iron intake or bow tie cast iron intake. No porting of the heads or gasket matching of intake or heads. Intake may NOT be reworked under carb area. Carb spacer no taller than 1 _ inch allowed. CARBURETORS: 4412 Holley 2 barrel or stock factory carbs. 2-barrel only. Bottom throttle plate hole 1 11/16 inch. Top 1 3/8 inch. Factory style HEI distributors. No remote coils on GM distributors. No onboard electronic devices capable of storing information allowed. No aftermarket electronic amplifying devices allowed. Tachometers only.
3. Hydraulic camshafts only. NO flat tappet cams or mushroom cams. No roller hydraulic cams. Engines must not pull less than 14” of vacuum at 1000 RPM’s. All cars will be checked in tech. Zero valve lash is required.
4. Heads must be stock OEM production only. No aftermarket heads. Casting number must be readable by tech official. 2.02 - 1.60 valves in GM is the largest size allowed. No aluminum heads or angle plug heads. Aftermarket valve springs OK. Stock OEM rocker arms only. Screw in studs allowed.
5. Headers are legal. Must have mufflers securely fastened to headers.
6. Factory stock automatics or standard transmissions. Must use factory stock OEM clutch disc and pressure plates on stock steel OEM flywheels only. Flywheels must weigh 26lbs. NO EXCEPTIONS. Stock type factory torque converters required on all automatics. Driver must be able to put car in gear from park/neutral and move forward and reverse at time of inspection. Must have driveshaft loop. Driveshafts must be painted white.
7. There is a $125.00 teardown rule on each: pistons, cams, lifters, rockers & porting heads and intake; flywheels/clutch; driveline. Driver only may protest. $25.00 of the money goes into the driver’s point fund.
8. CLAIM: $350.00 cash and swap. $50.00 goes to wrecker for pulling engines. Driver claiming must have raced at Beebe Speedway in the Hobby Stock class the previous 2 feature events.
LONG BLOCK ONLY.
Anyone wishing to make a claim must have finished the feature on the night of the claim. Only the top 4 finishing cars may be claimed. Claimant must be on lead lap. To claim, you must go to the scales and hand the cash to the officials within the 5-minute protest period. If you do not go to the scales, your claim is void. If you refuse to swap, or refuse the teardown rule, you lose all money won that night and all accumulated points. Second refusal, driver will be suspended for 3 weeks.
Promoter may claim any engine following feature so long as claim is made within the 5-minute time limit.
No driver may claim more than 1 engine during racing year. Claimed engine will be marked and must be run upon return to Beebe Speedway. If “marked” engine is not run upon first visit back to Beebe, you will not be able to run until motor is placed in car.


SAFETY REGULATIONS:
1. Roll cages are required. No screw joint fittings allowed. The minimum requirement for all roll cages on all cars shall be an “A” shaped affair, constructed of at least 1 1/2” OD pipe with bars running from the upper right corner to the lower left corner, and just the opposite on the other side, forming a “X” as viewed from front to rear. There must also be a cross bar on top of “A” and 4 bars down the side and 4 bars around the top to complete a caged affair around the driver. All roll bar pipes must be at least .095 in thickness. Must have 3 kidney bars on the driver side and 2 bars on the passenger side. FOR 2006 ~ MUST HAVE 4 BARS ON DRIVER’S SIDE. The driver and passenger doors inner liner only may be altered as necessary to install bars in the door area. No further gutting allowed. Gussets required. Bars may be added to protect radiator and gas tank areas. 3 1/4 inch bars in front of driver’s window are mandatory. 1/8” doorplate is mandatory.
2. Gas tanks must be in stock position. Fuel cells mandatory. 32 gallon maximum. Gas tanks/cells must be securely installed with 2 inch wide by 1/8 inch steel straps. Pump, racing or aviation gas only. NO nitrous oxide allowed.


TIRES - WHEELS - SUSPENSIONS:
1. IMCA, Street or track tires only. Any asphalt takeoffs on the front and rear. NO tires softer than a 55 compound allowed. NO recaps. 275/60/15 largest street tire allowed. All tires must pass tech inspection.
2. Steel racing wheels only. Maximum width is 10”. Right rear beadlock recommended. NO plastic or aluminum wheels. 5/8” stud mandatory.
3. Racing springs allowed on front and rear. Adjustable/Cheater weight jacks on front only. Rear Springs must use stock upper spring pads in stock location.
4. Racing shocks allowed, must mount in stock location. No heim mounted shocks allowed. Must have
3 or 4 wheel brakes, valve must be in engine compartment. Must run factory brake pedal assembly. OEM Master Cylinder. Rear suspensions must mount up factory stock. NO alterations. All control arms must mount up in stock positions. NO aftermarket control arms. No Johnny joints. Any stock American made car or 1/2 ton truck rear ends allowed. All cars must remain on stock suspension for the car that it is under. NO gold tracs or any form of traction devices allowed. All rear ends must be locked.
5. 9 inch Ford housing highly recommended. GM rear ends MUST have axle retention.

If you win the Hobby Stock track championship, you must move up. If you have ever won a Hobby (or any “beginning” type) track championship, you may not run this class. If you win 6 features in a year, you will have to move up the following year. YOU MAY NOT MOVE DOWN TO THIS CLASS!


2005 Beebe Speedway Economy Modified Building Rules.

IMCA MODIFIED RULES APPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS:
MOTOR
1. ENGINE 362 max cubic inch with GM 350 block & stock stroke 3.48 crank. Flat top pistons. Ford 361 (351 stock block & stroke) Mopar 370 (360 stock block & stroke). NO 400 BLOCKS.
2. CAMSHAFT LIFT RULE: .480" measured at the valve. Aluminum roller rockers allowed. (Valve can only move .480" at top of the valve) (NO VACUUM RULE) NO ROLLER CAM SHAFTS OR ROLLER LIFTERS.
3. OEM CAST IRON HEADS: SR or vortec heads ok. 2.02" intake & 1.60 exhaust valves max. 23 degree heads only. No angle plugs allowed. No porting or polishing of heads & intake. No match porting of intake or heads. No angle milling. No ALUMINUM heads.
4. No mismatching of engine parts. GM to GM, Ford to Ford.
5. No ALUMINUM parts except for intake manifolds, pulleys, valve covers, radiator, water pumps, roller rocker arms and flywheel.
6. No belt drive fuel pumps.
7. ENGINE CLAIMING RULE: $500.00 cash and swap. Driver claiming must have raced at Beebe Speedway in the E-Mod class the 2 previous feature events.


LONG BLOCK ONLY.
Top 4 feature positions are subject to engine claim by any driver finishing at least 10th and on the lead lap. Driver is the only one allowed to claim. Driver making claim must drive his racecar directly to the tech area immediately after the race, and hand the money to the tech man. Only the driver is allowed in tech area any contact with anyone other than the tech man the claim will be invalid. Claims must be made within 5 minutes of the feature race.
Promoter may claim any engine as long as claim is made within 5 minutes of feature.

CARBURETOR AND FUEL
1. Carburetor can be no larger than a Holley #4412 500 CFM 2 barrel and must pass inspection from top side with gauge. Bottom of carburetor can be no longer than 1 11/16" in diameter. (Must be stock Ventura 1-3/8") May run Rochester 2 barrel.
2. Alcohol and racing fuel ok. NO ADDITIVES.
3. Rear fuel cell panel optional.
4. RECOMMENDED: IF a new car is being built or the fuel cell is being replaced, replace with 22 gallon maximum capacity.


SPOILER.
1. 8" MAXIMUM rear spoiler MANDATORY. To be measured deck to full length of spoiler including wicker bill & angles.

WEIGHT.
1. Weight with driver after race 2500 lbs minimum.

TIRES AND WHEELS.
1. Asphalt or IMCA pull offs. NO tires softer than a 55 compound allowed. NO recaps.
2. Steel wheels only 10" maximum. Beadlock on right rear only.


TRANSMISSIONS.
1. STANDARD: OEM 3 or 4 speed only. Clutch, flywheel & pressure plate 10" minimum. Must have steel blow proof bell housing. Automatics must have working 10" torque converter minimum. No direct drive or mini clutches. No BERT or BRINN transmissions .

IGNITION.
1. MSD ignition 6AL allowed with $500 claim on complete system.
2. NO MAG type distributors.


PROTEST.
There is a $100 car protest fee. If you win the protest, you will get your $100 back. If you loose protest, the $100 will go to the driver protested. If the car is found to be illegal, the driver will loose the points and money for that night.

Window net Mandatory in 2005. This is new IMCA rule.

No Traction control devices.

Visiting E-Mods will be allowed one courtesy night (on minor infractions) and then must comply with the above rules.


2005 PURE STOCK BUILDING RULES

ALL ASPECTS OF THE CAR MUST REMAIN STOCK AS IT CAME FROM THE FACTORY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THE RULES BELOW NO EXEPTIONS. IF IT DOESN’T SAY YOU CAN DO IT THEN YOU CANT.

TYPE OF CARS.
American made factory street cars, 1970 or newer, minimum 101 inch wheelbase. No convertibles or sub-compacts cars allowed. No front wheel drives. Body and frame must be stock for that make and model of car.

BUILDING and SAFETY RULE
FIRE SUITS AND SHOES MANDITORY. All flammable interior must be removed. All glass and exterior trim must be removed. Full stock front and rear fire walls and floor pan. Holes in the firewalls must be covered with sheet metal. Front fender wells may be removed. Rear fenders may be repaired with sheet metal, (NO ALUMINUM). Wheel openings may be enlarged 2 inches for tire clearance. All doors must be welded or bolted shut. Holes in the floor of the trunk are allowed for ventilation. The trunk lid and hood must be secured with pull pins to prevent opening during a race. Bracing of unibody cars for a full frame effect is required. Stock style front and rear bumpers, NO SHARP EDGES ON EXTERIOR OF CAR. Front nose pieces maybe replaced. Must have a chain attached to the front and rear bumpers for quick wrecker hookup. Car must weigh 3400 lbs. with driver after the race. Brake, gas pedal and clutch pedal must remain in stock location. Batteries must be mounted solid and if in the driver’s compartment completely covered. Drive shafts must have a chain or steel loop around the front end, and must be painted white. Quick release steering wheel optional but stock steering column and shaft must remain in stock location. All added wait must be bolted solid and painted white. Must have a fire extinguisher mounted in drivers reach. Helmets must have a snell rating. All cars must be painted and have a reasonable appearance with contrasting number on both driver and passenger doors and top of the roof large enough (2'X18") for scorer to distinguish from the official's box.

ROLL CAGE
Roll bars are required. No screw joint fittings allowed. The minimum requirements for roll bars shall be an "A" shaped affair, constructed of at least 1 1/2 inch O. D. pipe and .095 thickness. Bars must run from upper right corner to lower left corner and just the opposite on the other side of car, forming and "X" as viewed from front to rear and must be welded to the frame. There must also be a cross bar on top to complete a caged affair around the driver. All roll bars must have an additional support extending from rear upright to rear position of frame. No concrete reinforcement steel may be used. All welds must have gussets. Must have a minimum of three ¼ inch bars in front of the driver. Three bars must be added to the drivers and passenger doors. Racing seats only, with at least a four point racing harness. Seat and harness must be bolted solid to floor and roll cage. All of the above is required for maximum safety for drivers.

FUEL TANKS AND FUEL
All cars must have gas tanks of heavy-duty construction and must be securely fastened to the frame in the truck. (FUEL CELLS RECOMMENDED). Minimum ground clearance of 10 inches. Maximum fuel capacity 22 gallons. Racing fuel, aviation or pump gas ONLY. NO additives. Fuel lines may be run on the passenger side but must be run through a steel pipe and extend a minimum of 6 inches outside the firewalls.

ENGINE
Stock distributor with stock internal parts or stock replacement parts and must be able to identify. No stroking or destroking. No ported or polished heads. No roller cams, lifters or rocker arms are allowed. Four valve relief cast pistons only. Stock rods only. ONLY hydraulic cams and lifters are allowed. Cam 415 maximum lift. Must idle smooth at 600 RPM. Balancing of engine is illegal. 362 cubic inch, 372 Chrysler cubic inch. Ten thousandths deck clearance. Fuel pump must mount on engine without cutting the frame. Double roller timing chain OK. Solid motor mounts OK in stock location. Valley pan OK. Polylocks OK. Stock HYDRALIC lifters ONLY. ENGINE CLAIMER $500.00 AND SWAP, LONG BLOCK ONLY.

HEADS
Heads cannot be altered by any machine work other than standard valve seat grinding. No three angel valve jobs. No 300 hp heads. No high performance heads minimum 68cc. Valve size no larger than 1.94 and 1.50 and must match casting number for head. Valve springs must be stock or stock replacement. Maximum valve spring size 1.250. One spring only with a dampner. Stock retainers and keepers. No W-2 head on Chrysler. No angle plug heads on GM or off-road racing heads. No shaving heads other than resurfacing. Must use 1.5 rockers standard or long slot.

CARBURETOR
Must be two barrel carburetor 500 CFM maximum. 4412 Holley 2 barrel or stock factory carbs. 2-barrel only. May use stock cast iron 4 barrel intake with an adapter up to 1 1/2" with gaskets. NO HIGH RISE. Must be stock in every aspect. Must have no bigger than 1 11/16" throttle bore and 1 3/8” OD at the ventura. Carburetors must have part number so it can be identified. All adapter plates under carburetor must be centered over manifold. No cutting grinding or polishing of any kind. $150 claimer on carburetor

SUSPENSION
Must remain stock in all aspects. The front and rear suspension must be STOCK for that make and model of car. Stock springs and shocks ONLY. No lowering blocks or spring spacers. Rear ends must remain STOCK for that make and model car. Rear end must be welded or locked.

TRANSMISSION
A stock automatic or standard transmission. Powerglide OK. Standard transmissions
must have a stock single disc dampened clutch. Must have stock flywheel with minimum 26 lbs. weight. No mini-clutch or aluminum flywheels. Stock torque converter is required with automatic. Scatter shield or blow-proof housing required on standard transmission. All transmissions must have all working gears.


EXHAUST
Cast iron manifolds only. Center dumps OK. Exhaust pipes must extend past the drivers seat.

RADIATOR
Any radiator that fits in a vertical position in the original location without body modification is OK. No extra cooling devices with the exception of one gallon over flow and transmission cooler mounted outside the driver's compartment. If the transmission cooler is mounted in the trunk, the lines must be run through a steel pipe and extend a minimum of 6 inches outside the firewalls.

TIRES AND WHEELS
8 inch steel wheels maximum. IMCA pull offs or 60 series street legal tire. Minimum 20 psi tire pressure after the race. 1 inch lug nuts required. Larger studs recommended.

PROTESTS
Complete teardown (check everything) $325. Carburetor claim $150. Heads, stroke, and bore $125. Transmission and rear end $100. Suspension $75. ENGINE CLAIMER $500 AND SWAP. Only one claim per driver a season. Only the top 5 finishers may be claimed. Driver must have competed the 2 previous race events, be on the lead lap and in the top 20 in points to make a claim. Driver only must go directly to the tech area and hand the money to the tech man to make the claim. The claimed motor must be run the next race event or all points will be lost for the season. If you refuse to sell you will loose all points and money for the night. 2nd refusal you loose money for the night and all accumulated points for the season.

DRIVER’S ALLOWED IN THIS CLASS
Any driver who has never won a feature race or finished in the top 5 in points in a higher class. It will be at the tracks discretion who can and cannot compete in this class.

ANY RULE NOT COVERED ABOVE WILL BE DECIDED BY THE TRACK AND ALL DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL AT SUCH TIME.


2005 Mini Stock - 4 Cylinder Rules

Fire suits MANDATORY
Anything not covered below must remain stock.
1. Wheel well may be enlarged to clear tires.
2. Doors may gutted to add door bars.
3. FULL STOCK floor pan back past the rear end.
4. FULL STOCK fire wall in stock location.
5. ALL body panels must be stock.
6. Nose can be plastic or aluminum.
7. NO bars outside the body.
8. NO wings of any kind.
9. NO spoilers, unless they came out stock on the car.
10. NO changing of the frame from 0” in front of the A frame to back of the rear spring.
11. You MUST have a shield to COMPLETELY separate the driver from the radiator.
12. CARBURETORS: 4412 Holley 2 barrel or stock factory carbs. 2-barrel only. Gas tank MUST be in a steel container in the trunk of the car. (Fuel cell recommended.) Pump gas or racing fuel only. No alcohol.
13. Battery MUST be in the rear of the car separated from the driver and COMPLETELY SECURED.
14. Door must be welded or bolted shut.
15. MOTOR - NO TURBOs. If it’s not stock it’s not legal. No 4 wheel drives or engines in the rear.
16. TRANSMISSIONS - Factory stock automatic or standard. Stock factory torque converters. NO triple disk or mini clutches.
17. NO HEADERS - Factory exhaust only.
18. Wheelbase must be factory stock.
19. TIRES - NO tires larger than 205-70-15 street tires. Imca tires allowed - grooving O.K.
20. SPRINGS - Must be stock springs. NO AFTER MARKET SPRINGS, ON FRONT & REAR.
21. SHOCKS - Must be stock. NO racing shocks.
22. MUST HAVE RACING SEAT & SEAT BELTS.
23. $125.00 engine or drivetrain protest.
24. If you win the Mini Stock track championship, you must move up. If you have won a track championship in the last 5 years, you may not run this class. If you win more than 6 features in a year, you will have to move up the following year.
